Of those, 178 were first-time views.

I saw a movie in the theatre a paltry 4 times, watched 7 movies on VHS, and caught something worth watching on cable twice (no wonder I cancelled my cable service this year...well, that and the incessant GOP propaganda it pipes into my home...). The remaining 290 films were all viewed via DVD.

The first film I saw in 2006 was The Deathless Devil (!972) and the last was Clerks II (2006).

Totals by decade:
1930s - 16
1940s - 22
1950s - 16
1960s - 49
1970s - 110
1980s - 42
1990s - 10
2000s - 38

Yeah, I tend to watch a lot of '70s-vintage exploitation...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8707040.post-88788729692266203722007-01-01T16:41:00.000-06:002007-01-01T16:41:00.000-06:00Hmmm... I've only seen 150 movies this past year, but my criteria are a little different- I don't count Made For TV movies/straight to video flicks and films I have seen before*. Strictly films that have had some sort of theatrical release.

* This would raise the number significantly.Rich Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04883386588727303782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8707040.post-2424601600743459822007-01-01T12:43:00.000-06:002007-01-01T12:43:00.000-06:00Nice recap Marty - I hope we'll see you again at t...Nice recap Marty - I hope we'll see you again at this year's B-Fest?Christopherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15731556832558952660noreply@blogger.com
