If it were any other detective character, or if it's your first exposure to THIS detective character, it would almost go unnoticed, but it's kind of a disturbing moment because it's Columbo himself.<br /><br />Of course, RANSOM FOR A DEAD MAN, the second pilot, is more like the Columbo everyone knows.
